    This form is used to create and edit a form question.

    Context bar

    Button Description
    Questions Opens a page containing the list of form questions.
    Create Opens a form in which you can create a new form question. The button is displayed when editing the existing question only.
    Copy Duplicates the current question into a new one. The button is displayed when editing the existing question only.
    Delete Deletes the current question. The button is displayed when editing the existing question only.
    Statuses Opens a page containing the list of form statuses.

    The button is displayed in the extended editing mode.
    Fields Opens a page containing the list of form fields.

    The button is displayed in the extended editing mode.
    Results Opens a page containing the list of form results.

    Simple editing form

    "Properties" tab
    Field Description
    Form The form to which the question belongs. The field is displayed when editing the existing question only.
    Modified The date the question was last modified.
    Active Specifies whether the question is active or not.
    Sorting The question sort weight. Defines the question position in lists.
    Image The image that will be displayed next to the question.
    Question The question text.
    Required Indicates that the answer for this question is mandatory.
    Type of answer field The type of the answer field:
    • text - single-line text;
    • textarea - multiple line text;
    • multiselect - the list of multiple choice variants;
    • dropdown - the list of single choice variants;
    • radio - a set of radio buttons (single choice);
    • checkbox - a set of checkbox buttons (multiple choice);
    • image - image field;
    • date - date input field with the embedded calendar;
    • file - file submit field;
    • password - password entry field.
    Size The size of the answer field:
    • Field width; available for the following field types: text, textarea, image, date. Denotes the number of columns.
    • Field height; available for the following field types: textarea, multiselect. Denotes the number of rows.
    Answer The answer variant; used in dropdown, multiselect, radio, checkbox fields; for other field types you must leave this field blank.
    Field Description
    Answer variants The answer variant.
    Sort order The answer variant sort weight. Defines the variant position in lists.
    Default If checked, this answer will be used by default.
    "Comment" tab

    The administrator's comment to the question. The comment will be displayed only in the administration section.

    Extended editing form

    "Properties" tab
    Field Description
    Form The form to which the question belongs. The field is displayed when editing the existing question only.
    Modified The date the question was last modified.
    Active Specifies whether the question is active or not.
    Sorting The question sort weight. Defines the question position in lists.
    *Symbolic identifier The answer symbolic code. Only Latin letters can be used here.
    Required Indicates that the answer for this question is mandatory.

    "Question" tab
    Field Description
    Image The image that will be displayed next to the question.
    Question text The text of the current question.
    "Answer" tab

    This form allows to create fields to be used for entering the answer, or possible answer variants.

    Field Description
    ID The ID of the answer field.
    Text
    ANSWER_TEXT    		 The answer text; used in dropdown, multiselect, radio, checkbox fields; for other field types, enter a space here.
    Value
    ANSWER_VALUE    		 Additional parameter which can be used for a definite answer identification (for example: in lists).
    Field type The type of the answer field:
    • text - single-line text;
    • textarea - multiple line text;
    • multiselect - the list of multiple choice variants;
    • dropdown - the list of single choice variants;
    • radio - a set of radio buttons (single choice);
    • checkbox - a set of checkbox buttons (multiple choice);
    • image - image field;
    • date - date input field with the embedded calendar;
    • file - file submit field;
    • password - password entry field.
    Width Field width; available for the following field types: text, textarea, image, date. Denotes the number of columns.
    Height Field height; available for the following field types: textarea, multiselect. Denotes the number of rows.
    Parameters This field can be used to specify input element attributes and styles, and to assign special identifiers:
    • SELECTED – if specified, this attribute causes the option to be selected; available for: multiselect, dropdown, radio, checkbox;
    • NOT_ANSWER - this attribute means that the given option is not an answer, but a plain text; the option will not be considered as the answer to a mandatory question. Available for: dropdown, radio, multiselect, checkbox;
    • NOW_DATE - displays the current date in the date field;
    • NOW_TIME - displays the current time in the date field.
    Sort. The variant sort weight. Defines the variant position in lists.
    Active. Specifies whether the field is active or not; if unchecked, the field cannot be viewed in the public section.
    Del. Check this field and click Apply to delete the answer variant.
    "Results" tab

    The tab serves to customise the parameters of the answer result display.

    Field Description
    Show in the result table If checked, answers for this question will be displayed in the HTML result table.
    Show in the Excel result table If checked, answers for this question will be displayed in the Excel result table.
    Column header in the result table The text which will be displayed in the result table as a title of the column containing the answers for this question.
    "Filter" tab
    Filter fields
    for entered value Types of the result table filter fields which can be used to find answers typed by users in the following types of fields: text, textarea. The following options are available in the filter:
    • single-line text field;
    • range of numbers;
    • range of dates;
    • answer exists.
    for parameter ANSWER_TEXT Types of the filter fields which can be used to find ANSWER_TEXT parameter values in visitor’s answers. The following options are available in the filter:
    • single-line text field;
    • range of numbers;
    • drop-down list containing all ANSWER_TEXT values;
    • answer exists.
    for parameter ANSWER_VALUE Types of the filter fields which can be used to find ANSWER_VALUE  parameter values in visitor’s answers. The following options are available in the filter:
    • single-line text field;
    • range of numbers;
    • drop-down list containing all ANSWER_VALUE values.
    • answer exists.
    Title of the filter field Text that will be displayed beside the selected filter fields in the result table.
    "Comment" tab

    The administrator's comment to the question. The comment will be displayed only in the administration section.

    Control buttons

    Button Description
    Save Saves the question parameters. Opens the page with the list of questions.
    Apply Saves the question parameters. Editing continues.
    Cancel Cancels current changes and restores parameters to their original values.
