Introduction

Language is an account in the database available for editing in the administrative menu Languages and containing the following fields:

• ID
• Name
• Date format
• Time format
• Encoding

In both public and administrative sections, language is primarily used to choose a language file.

In the administrative section, language defines the format of time, date and page encoding. In the public section, these parameters are defined by the site settings.
