Module installation is performed in the menu Modules of the administrative interface, by clicking the Install button. This will cause calling the method DoInstall of the class whose name is the same as the module ID. This class is to be implemented in file /bitrix/modules/module ID/install/index.php (see also Module description).

During the module installation, the following actions are to be performed without fail:

• module registration, which is implemented using the function RegisterModule;
• if the module contains administrative scripts, their calling scripts must be copied to the directory /bitrix/admin/;
• all images used by the module must be copied to the directory /bitrix/images/module ID/.
