Creating and editing a tax rate

  • This form serves to edit parameters of a new or existing tax rate.

    Context bar

    Button Description
    Tax rates Switches to the form displaying the list of tax rates.
    New tax rate Creates a new tax rate in this form.
    Delete Deletes the current tax rate.

    Forms

    Field Description
    ID The ID of the tax rate. Displayed when editing an existing tax rate.
    Modified The date when the tax rate was last modified. Displayed when editing an existing tax rate.
    Tax* The tax to which this rate is bound.
    Active Indicates whether the rate is active or not. Inactive rates cannot be used in calculations.
    Payer type Payer type to which this tax rate can be applied.
    Rate* The tax rate value.
    Included in price Indicates whether the tax rate is included in the price of products.
    Tax priority index* Tax rates with the equal priority indexes are added. Tax rates having different priority values form compound percents.
    Locations** Specify here location(s) to which this tax rate can be applied.
    Location groups** Select here location group(s) to whose locations this tax rate can be applied.

    * - Required fields.
    ** - You have to select a value in at least one of these fields. That is, you have to select either location or location group. You can also select the desired values in both fields.

    Controls

    Button Description
    Save Applies changes performed on this page and switches to the list of tax rates. Displayed when editing an existing tax rate.
    Apply Applies changes performed on this page without switching to the list of tax rates.
    Reset Cancels current changes and restores parameters to their original values.
