Referring sites

This page displays the report containing the referring pages linked to your site and the target pages on your site that the visitors hit.

Filter

ParameterDescription
ID The ID of the required record.
Session ID The ID of the required session which was opened when a visitor came to the site.
Referrer URL The page containing links to your site.
Protocol Filters results by the protocol type (e.g. http).
Domain Filters results by entry of the specified text in the domain name.
Page Address of the referred page.
Destination The expression to filter the result. Additionally, you can specify:
  • the site whose sections or pages are to be included in the diagram and report;
  • method to display false requests (error 404): with other pages, only false requests or all pages except false requests.
Failed page request This flag allows to filter out the referred pages that could not be found on the server (error 404).
Period Range of dates to filter out the visitors when matching against the information in the database.
Filter field logic Defines how the filter works: whether all criteria must match, or at least one true condition is sufficient.

* - These fields allow using Boolean expressions. You can get information on the syntax by clicking on the symbol "?" next to the field. For exact searches using this field, mark the corresponding checkbox.

Click Set filter to activate the filter and build graphs. To display all information, click Cancel.

Button Description
Group by Opens a menu in which you can choose how the results are grouped: by domain, by links (pages) or without grouping.
Excel Exports data from the table to the MS Excel format.

  1. The ID of the record in the database.
  2. The referring page.
  3. The page to which the referring page has links.
  4. The date of the visit from the referring page.
  5. The ID of the session opened at the moment of the visit.
