What are the advantages of having a Forum on your web site?

The newly introduced Forums and Blogs modules allow you to experience in full how communication can be really productive and exciting!The Forums module enables you to create numerous forum threads on your web site. The topics discussed within the forum threads are not limited by a single subject matter, it’s all up to you! Forums can be used not only for your company’s needs but also become an alternative way to render your clients and customers consultations or technical support on your product, or used as a source of building up your own internet community. Each forum thread can be moderated the way you want. For instance, you can decide who will get access permission to a topic discussion, keep a rating log for each forum participant, configure the way the participants exchange their personal messages, etc.

The access permission levels are so flexible and profound that you can even create closed communities or allow only the registered users to view and participate in a forum discussion. Or, for example, give some of your trusted users a permission to moderate the forum threads.
Flexible Access Permissions Levels
The Forums deign and its logical structures make the interface really user-friendly! The system templates are made to be simple for use containing just a few icons, and the rest is built in inside a separate CSS-file. The template layout and as well as the template elements can be easily modified – all you have to do is choose and upload your own CSS-file that will be used as a system template. All templates are included in the Bitrix Site Manager ASP.NET, the new ones will be available through our SiteUpdate system alongside with all bug-fixes or newly introduced functional elements.
