As far as your business grows you can extend your website's capabilities by upgrading your Bitrix Site Manager edition to the more functional one. The upgrade process is seamless, there is no need to reinstall Bitrix Site Manager and other software. Bitrix Site Manager is upgraded via SiteUpdate system.
The cost of the upgrade is the difference between prices of Bitrix Site Manager editions. Available upgrade options are pulished at the Upgrade page.
All Bitrix Site Manager customers are granted one year of FREE support and updates. The license owners can update Bitrix Site Manager via SiteUpdate mechanism in the admin panel.
When the first year is over it is possible to purchase the updates and support renewal for Bitrix Site Manager. The renewal provides you the option to extend technical support and updates subscription for an additional year.
Updates and support renewal is an option provided for Bitrix Site Manager users. It is NOT an obligation to extend the updates and support subscription period for another year; your site will continue running powered by Bitrix Site Manager, you will be able to manage site content, its template, and use any other options provided by CMS. However, new product updates and edition upgrades will not be available until you decide to purchase the renewal.
