Bitrix Site Manager: Upgrades and Renewal Options

Additional Websites

By default, a standard commercial license key for any edition of Bitrix Site Manager allows you to create two websites on a single product installation. However, the number of websites can be extended by coupons for additional websites. A coupon for an additional website costs 30% of the product price. Please note that volume discounts apply if you order 2 or more coupons for additional websites.

Edition Upgrade

As far as your business grows you can extend your website's capabilities by upgrading your Bitrix Site Manager edition to the more functional one. The upgrade process is seamless, there is no need to reinstall Bitrix Site Manager and other software. Bitrix Site Manager is upgraded via SiteUpdate system.

The cost of the upgrade is the difference between your current Bitrix Site Manager edition and the one you want to upgarde your product to. Available upgrade options are pulished in the Bitrix online store. The table below lists all currently available upgrade options:

Renewal Options

Each license of Bitrix Sit Manager and Bitrix Intranet includes a 1-year subscription for technical support and product updates at no additional charge. After one year, the subscription period expires. The product itself remains fully functional. You can renew the technical support and product updates subscription for one additional year for only 22% of the product price if purchase is made within 30 days from the end of the previous subscription expiry date- the so called Early Subscription Renewal option. Technical support and product updates renewals are available for ordering anytime later (after 30 days and more from the date of technical support and product update subscription expiration). In this case you will be able to order a Late Subscription Renewal option which costs 60% of the original product price. You can order a Late Subscription Renewal option here.

Renewing technical support and product updates subscription is not mandatory. However, it enables you to receive all product updates and possible bug-fixes. Renewing subscription allows you to benefit from a number of advantages when requesting technical support through Bitrix HelpDesk that are only available to Bitrix users who have the status of a commercial client (please learn more details in the Bitrix Service Level Agreement).

Bitrix Site Manager: Licensing Policy

A single license of Bitrix Site Manager allows one live installation on a web server. The commercial version of Bitrix Site Manageris delivered with the full source code. The commercial license key allows the owner to:

License Activation

All customers should activate and register their Bitrix Site Manager licenses within a 6-month period after the license purchase. If the license has not been activated during that period, it is activated automatically. In this case the update period starts from the moment of license activation.

Additional Websites

Subscription Renewal

The commercial version of any Bitrix product includes a lifetime license and 1 year of free technical support and updates. To continue receiving updates and support, a one-year coupon can be purchased for each product license. The SiteUpdate module in the product activates updates. Refund Policy

To optimize the level of customer satisfaction and ensure smooth operations, Bitrix provides a free, 30-Day Trial Version of the product which is fully functional. We recommend that you to test the system features using the free trial version to make sure that the system works for you and to eliminate any possible refund requests. We believe this trial period is enough to test Bitrix Site Manager in the chosen environment thoroughly and to carry out an informed decision concerning purchase of our software.

Bitrix Site Manager products are non-refundable. We ask for your understanding that we cannot issue any refunds since a free 30-day trial version is provided, and since the commercial product version of the software is delivered with the full source code.
