Polls and Surveys

This Polls & Surveys module allows you to:

• create poll groups; a poll group can have only one active poll (defined by the polling period), e.g. you can create a series of polls for a whole year and publish them together, and the polls within the series will be conducted one by one;
• share poll groups among multiple sites;
• assign access permissions to different user groups for polls;
• set the starting and ending dates of a poll;
• select the poll display template;
• select the poll results display template;
• send notifications via e-mail for each response;
• register voting events in the Web Analytics module;
• ensure visitor uniqueness; the following methods to define visitor uniqueness can be employed:
  • unrestricted - uniqueness is not watched; each visitor can vote multiple times;
  • single session - a visitor can only vote once during a single session (i.e. until the browser is restarted, or the session expires);
  • single session cookie (rejects multiple responses either within the same session or with the same cookie);
  • single IP and single user ID ;
• create an unlimited number of questions and answers;
• select different display templates for questions;
• use different input field types for answers (radio button, checkbox, drop-down and multi-select list, single line text, multiline text);
• define answer field size;
• set chart pie colors (for the poll result display);
• render the poll description and questions in HTML or text format ;
• upload images from a local computer, website files (e.g. from the Media Library) for use in the poll and question descriptions;
• include or exclude a question from results (when building a diagram);
• view the voting results;
• view information on visitors who take part in polls.
