Web-It! Notes: Details
Using Web-It!'s is even easier than using paper. Coordinating work really becomes much easier; for example, a Web-It! can provide a direct link to the user who needs to fulfill the request in the note. Additionally, following the link in the Web-It!, the browser will scroll to the point in the page relevant to the comment. The link in the Web-It! can be copied using its ID number or from a list of all notes in the "Page" column.
Attaching a Web-It! Note to a Page

To paste a Web-It! on a page, simply click the "Create Web-It!" button in the Amber Ergonomics panel and fill it out. Ctrl+Shift+S is set as the 'hot-key' for this feature by default. To complete the Web-It!, text is put in, the Web-It! is made visible to selected users if applicable, a color for the Web-It! is selected, and then it is 'stuck' to the page. The note can actually be stuck to a particular part of the page by selecting it with the mouse, or to an element on the page like a menu, news item, or link.

List of Web-It!'s

Posting Web-It!'s is pretty easy, but what then? The person(s) to whom a note is addressed can check that the points in it have been handled properly and add their own commentary, if needed. The note can be removed or posted again if it is a recurring task or issue. Web-It!'s can be hidden from view (Ctrl+Shift+X) if needed. A full list of notes on a given page and even on the whole site can be viewed and sorted according to parameters such as user (mine or all), color, and status (stuck or unstuck). Actions can be executed directly in this list, for example, removing all the Web-It!'s on a given page.

Access Rights for Web-It!'s

Additional settings for Web-It!'s can be configured in the Control Panel. Here you can choose the default size of new Web-It!'s, turn off the lower panel, or remove all the notes on a website in a single action. Access permissions to Web-It! Notes are assigned in the same way as permissions to pages, sections, and InfoBlocks™.
