How many users will I have on my Intranet Portal?

Each product license of any edition of Bitrix Intranet Portal already includes 25 portal users. The number of portal users can be anytime extended by simply purchasing additional user licenses. However, you should concider the option to buy Bitrix Intranet Portal with an unlimited users license if you plan to create more than 499 user accounts for your Intranet Portal. Very often it is more of an advantage for a company not to have limits in number of users (or employees, web portal administrators, etc.) actively interacting in the corporate network. So, let's do math! When is the unlimited user
license to be considered?

Example:

A medium-sized company that has 507 employees wants to set up an Intranet for its personnel using the Bitrix Intranet Portal: Office Edition. Below are the costs:

  • Product license cost = $ 1,799
  • Users already included = 25
  • Additional users needed = 482 (i.e. 507-25=482)
  • Additional users cost = 482*40 = $ 19,280
