The content management system allows organization of document libraries for general use, collaboration, and personal storage. The Documents section of the portal can hold as many different libraries as needed; each workgroup has its own document library; and each user has a document library for personal use. Uploaded documents are immediately indexed and show up in search suggestions. Business processes can be implemented, and sections or files in document libraries can be mapped as network drives in users’ Windows Explorer or other file managers.

Public Document Library
Document libraries allow collective access to documents saved on a server, with the capability of editing and keeping archives of historical copies which can be recovered.
Libraries can be mapped as network drives and used directly through a file manager on a user’s local machine. Modification history and business processes are maintained consistently through this method of access.
Another extremely important feature is that file folders on the local network can be displayed and accessed inside the intranet. Every company has these ‘silos’ where various documents, videos, presentations, or other important are stored. Such folders can be display via a special-purpose document library, and their contents (standard Office suites or pdf formats) can even be indexed so that they become searchable along with portal content.
Modification of office documents can be performed without downloading onto the local computer. For this, the necessary office applications: Microsoft Office, OpenOffice.org or LibreOffice, must be installed locally.
