The intranet provides individual blogs for each user, as well as a blog for each group and a united blog at the global (organizational) level. Using these blogs, employees can express their opinions and share their experiences, related to regular operations or not. Blogs are an important feature which influence intranet adoption, and it has been demonstrated that a well-kept blog by an organization’s CEO increases general intranet use.

The functionality of the blog feature includes:

display of smileys and tags in posts and comments;

channeled notifications about selected employees' blog activity;
use of images and video in blog posts.
